Farm experience for families

Narnu Farm is a working heritage farm on Hindmarsh Island, set up specifically as a family-friendly farm experience. Twice-daily animal feeding sessions cover deer, miniature pigs, emus, lambs, chickens, ducks and a friendly menagerie of others.

What else is there

A nature playspace built into the property, a sports arena for ball games, several walking tracks and self-contained farm-stay cottages for overnight visits. Aboriginal cultural tours run from the property along the Coorong fringe (see Narnu Aboriginal Cultural Tours).

Practical

Day-visit fees apply. Bookings recommended on weekends and school holidays.
